A millennium ago, within the heart of this temple, Mayan priests attempted to awaken Kukulkan, the Feathered Serpent. They sought his divine power to protect their civilization, but a flawed ritual caused his energy to spiral out of control.
To halt the spreading calamity, the priests sealed the temple in haste, scattering and hiding the clues to the true ritual—consigning both their god and their civilization to a deep slumber.
Now, the long-silent temple has stirred once more. The ancient mechanisms are awakening one by one, signaling the imminent return of the Feathered Serpent.
You have been chosen as the Challengers. You must venture deep into the ruins and recover the correct ritual process. Only then can the Feathered Serpent return as a Guardian, ensuring this temple and the civilization it carries are never forgotten again.
