On this ravage continent that used to be called North America, there is a newly established country called Panem. The twelve administrative districts are surrounded by a prosperous “Capitol”.
The supreme and authoritarian President Snow annually demands the twelve boroughs to hand over men and women aged 12 to 18 years old as “Tributes” and puts them in the annual “Hunger Games” arena. Live television broadcast of thus terrifying event maintains its authoritarian rule and national order. Twenty-four tributes must kill each other until one survivor is left, and the survivor can enjoy a lifetime of glory and wealth.
Today you are the tributes who were lucky enough to be drawn on the “Lottery Day” to participate in this year’s Hunger Games. You will face the test of life and death and fight for survival. In this deadly competition between enemies and friends, who can become the survivor and win the final victory?
