Exodus

Exodus demonstrates how the children of Israel leave slavery in Egypt through the strength of Yahweh, the God who has chosen Israel as his people. Led by their prophet Moses they journey through the wilderness to Mount Sinai, where Yahweh promises them the land of Canaan (the “Promised Land”) in return for their faithfulness. Israel enters into a covenant with Yahweh who gives them their laws and instructions for the Tabernacle, the means by which he will dwell with them and lead them to the land, and give them peace.

The Ten Commandments, also known as the Decalogue, are a set of biblical principles relating to ethics and worship, which play a fundamental role in Judaism and Christianity. They include instructions to worship only God and to keep the Sabbath, and prohibitions against idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, dishonesty, and adultery. Under God’s Judgement, you had been chosen as one of the Israelites so as to seek for the route of Exodus.

《出埃及記》乃聖經舊約的第二書，主要講述以色列人如何在埃及受到逼害，然後由摩西帶領他們離開埃及的故事。神是出埃及記中重點記述的救贖事件背景。救贖可以界定為「脫離異族的管治，享受由此而來的自由」。在出埃及中，以色列人接受神的救贖。救贖的條件是服從。在祂拯救以色列人脫離奴役的基礎上，頒佈十誡和其餘的律法。多個世紀以來，百神透過先知，呼籲祂的百姓不要忘記祂如何領他們出埃及，並且悔改歸向祂。忠心的人懷著感恩的心，回應摩西的「救贖之歌」。

耶和華降臨在古埃及的十個災禍，稱之為《十災》，以催促並警告埃及法老讓以色列人到曠野三天。你們將經歷法老的魔咒，十災的降臨，最後亦需要在摩西的帶領下，由紅海脫離。經過了神的審判，你們化身為二百萬以色列子民的其中之一，協力尋找出埃及的路線。
